With a background in marketing, public relations, and strategic communication, I’ve spent my career honing the art of storytelling. My journey began in the film industry, where I first discovered how powerful narratives can resonate deeply with audiences. This understanding of emotional impact became the cornerstone of my work, shaping everything from campaigns for public sector organizations to strategies for businesses focused on sustainability. After working with companies and nonprofits to develop their messaging, I realized my calling was in using these skills to promote the potential of renewable energy, leading me to found Green Tide Communications. Today, I focus on helping clients in the green energy sector elevate their brands and tell stories that inspire action and drive real-world impact.

With over 25 years of experience in client and account management, communications, and business development, Kate’s leadership and strategic thinking are at the heart of our approach to client service. Her background includes pivotal roles in engagement and communications, where she helped transform organizational messaging and drive engagement growth. Kate’s time as Engagement & Communications Manager for a major not-for-profit saw her work with stakeholders from all levels of the military to simplify and deliver complex messaging on key issues. She also played a vital role in modernizing communications strategies and increasing membership and engagement. Her ability to foster relationships and drive results makes her an invaluable part of Green Tide’s mission to tell powerful stories in the renewable energy space.
